Special Weekly Rules
As these new game weeks start rolling out, you’ll notice several changes that have been applied to previous tournaments. These modifications are aimed at providing players with a more balanced experience, which will require different tactics than what you’ve previously been used to.
It’s always fun to play using top players, Sorare seeks to shake things up with the Underdog tournaments. These challenges have been running for a while now, but for game weeks 281 – 284, Sorare has added some special rules. All players taking part in these events must have an average score of under 50 within the last 15 games. This sets the bar for what qualifies as an underdog player.
In the Specialist League, managers must have a minimum of 2 players that score an average score below 40 across the last 15 games. They must also stick to a maximum of 1 player that has an average score of 60 from the last 15 games. These squads cannot have any captains assigned and can only have a maximum of 2 players from the same team.
For the Special Threekly tournament, players can assemble teams with 3 limited and 2 common cards. The common cards will not add any value to your team’s score, contributing 0 points, no matter the outcome. All of the players used in the squad must have an average score below 50 across the last 15 games. The captain’s scarcity level must be limited.
Of course, more scarcity rules are added for each specific tournament, but these general guidelines apply for all the competitions throughout game weeks 281 – 284.
